THOMAS J. OWEN, NWS, AWS
Watercolor:  Beyond Wet in Wet

Beginner to Advanced

This workshop will take you "Beyond Wet in Wet"!  Use watercolor impasto and other unique methods to create juicy under-paintings, rich color bursts, and varied textures.  Explore palette knife and other alternative applications. Your paintings will make a strong watercolor statement while maintaining the content you desire.

Tom says, "I like water-based media because of the possibilities of the flow of the pigment and the subtle interplay and blending of colors. This fluidity creates wonderful atmospheric effects and gives the elements of landscape a quality which can be captured no other way...”

Thomas Owen is considered one of the Southwest's premier landscape painters and has won over 50 awards in National and International exhibitions including American Watercolor Society, Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolor, San Diego International Exhibition, and Best of Show from both Colorado Watercolor Society and Society of Watercolor Artists.
