Intermediate and Advanced

Are you ready to expand your knowledge and experience with abstract painting?  In this workshop you will explore several means of developing smashing abstracts!  To this end, Louise will: present a short review of abstractionism, discuss the major design principles, encourage experimentation with some of the latest acrylic and collage techniques, and present some ideas to help you develop an “eye” for the abstract. 

Students should have some experience in working with acrylic paints and with collage basics.

Louise Cadillac, top award winning painter and printmaker, holds an MA in Art education, earning the Vincent Van Gogh Plaque for Outstanding Leadership in Arts Education.  She is a popular juror of national competition, including RMN, AWS, and NWS.  Her published works cover her own uniquely devised techniques and methods, as well as thoughts on judging and on taking workshops.  Her works appear in national and international collections.
